    This photo of five SEALs standing with the Hatian flag was taken around the same time period from the stern of a NSW Patrol Coastal ship with Port-au-Prince Harbor, Haiti in the background.     This is a WWII-era Japanese "Good Luck Flag" (Yosegaki Hinomaru). These flags were typically signed by friends, family, and neighbors of a departing soldier, wishing for his safety, courage, and loyalty. Recovered from Iwo Jima and exchanged between a US Marine and a member of UDT 15 for a bottle of whiskey. Both were in a hospital in Saipan.
